so, I consider this video to be in the same category as train wrecks. You can't help but watch in disgust/fascination. There's nothing blatantly wrong about it... but probably would be considered NSFW. I just don't understand men. At all. The gang at weebls made a parody of it. Which is both lame and hilarious rolled into one funny taco.

What kind of yarn are you?

You are Merino Wool. You are very easygoing and sweet. People
like to keep you close because you are so softhearted. You love to be comfortable and warm from your head to your toes.

So, as an addendum, I had some questions about limegrass on the spinning section of the Craftster forums. The metreage of the yarn is 1212.5m (approximation based on the equation: 100m/8g= x/97g). The WPI (wraps per inch) is ~35. I <3 the colour of this yarn so much; it makes me keekle on the inside.

First Post!

Woo! So, my first post for my blog. What to say, what to say...

So, I actually made the blog like... two weeks ago, but I've mostly been busy studying - first for my comprehensive final (which I freaking aced!), and now for my PEBCs and OSCE (in pharmspeak it means my liscensing exams which leads to a big ol' EEEK!).

So, this stuyding thing... leaves me stressed. Which means that I need things to de-stress. Which means I've been at my spinning wheel a lot when I'm not studying. And by not studying it means I'm slacking from housework which I oh so despise.

Oh well. I'll soon be moving to a place with laminate flooring and *gasp* a DISHWASHER. Oh dishwasherygoodness... how I've missed thee in these long years past...

Anyhow. Enough of the boring prattle. What everyone likes is pictures. I know I like pictures. So here's some yarn porn of what I've spun.

This is some thick to thin sorta sock weight yarn.
Two ply: centre pull ball method
Atomic Melon roving from Spunky Eclectic
Type: Wool blend

This is a very fine sock weight or leaning more to a lace weight yarn.
Three ply: navajo plied so it should have some stripey action going on
Roving from: hoxierice as part of a Craftster hand dyed roving swap
Type: Superwash Merino. Soooo very soft and delightful to work with

This is a thickish to thinish sockish weight yarn.
Two ply: centre pull ball method
Roving from: The Wool Emporium; hand painted by me with Wilton food dyes
Type: Perendale. Kind of itchy and hard to draft.

Well, I think that's it for me tonite. Probably time to go and sleep.
